It’s time to look at your home several ways.   We talked about detaching from your home but it’s important not to do it completely.  Think through all the wonderful memories from your time there and think how your home influenced those memories.   Hidden there you might find some of the traits of your home that make it stand out.   Surprisingly, you may be reminded of many ways the house was special to you.  What made it appeal to you among the other homes on the market in your neighborhood.   But you need to look at it practically as well.  Looking at it as just a house, what makes it unique among the other houses.  It might be design, color, landscape, parking, pool, space for kids or room layout.  Basically, it could be any number of things that make it stand out.
