Real Estate Marketing Tools consist of everything an agent can use to do their job. The job is to keep your home first in the mind of as many people as possible. Not restricting to just buyers, we say “everybody” because many who are not buyers are in contact with a buyer. Surprisingly, some agents use almost no tools. Really some only do what we call post and pray! Meaning, they stick a post in the ground and pray that somebody sees it and responds. On the other hand, some love marketing! For example, I enjoy using every real estate marketing tool available so you can sell your home! This means doing everything possible to get your property in front of as many buyers as possible. What other tools are there?
I like to use social media platforms like Facebook, Instagram, X, LinkedIn are all potential hunting ground for buyers. I include paid ads on those platforms, sometimes targeted to specific geographical areas. This will take those venues up to a greater level. Your property on an MLS will automatically syndicate to all the major Real Estate Sites like Zillow and Realtor.com. But there are more real estate marketing tools if your agent is willing to use them. I use email lists to other agents, first to 60 or so that are a part of our two offices. Additionally I email agents that I have connected with through transactions over the years. Then I message groups of agents in the area. I do text campaigns in case somebody on my list knows someone who is looking. Additionally there will be slideshows and videos not just on social media. They will be available to other agents on the MLS and emailed and even in text messages. Everything that keeps your home top of mind to as many people as possible is a real estate marketing tool. That’s why I’m always looking for another angle to show your home!
